Yamhill County Master Gardener™ Association

We are a trusted resource of Oregon State University (OSU) research-based information for sustainable gardening, serving residents of Yamhill County.
We continuously refresh our knowledge to stay informed of current gardening issues and new research findings.  We actively reach out to our community in sharing our knowledge.
We support individuals and groups, sharing our interest in gardening through scholarships, plant clinics, and the annual Plant Fair and Sale.

We support the OSU Master Gardener Program and Extension Service.

The Oregon State University Master Gardener™ Program
is an Oregon State University (OSU) Extension Service program that educates Oregonians about the art and science of growing and caring for plants. This program also facilitates the training of a highly educated corp of volunteers. These volunteers extend sustainable gardening information to their communities through education and outreach programs.
What We Do and Where We Work:  In 29 counties across Oregon, Master Gardener volunteers answer gardening questions at OSU Extension offices, at community Farmers' markets, and at Master Gardener events.  Volunteers create and manage demonstration gardens, school gardens and community gardens.  They host garden tours, workshops and classes in their communities.
